I love the details in this, and it looks really promising but you might want to try different scanner settings. The thumbnail looks rather odd, the image being stretched, is there any chance you can resize with Psp7 or something of the sort?
Still, nice work.

Edit: And also, did you take a picture of it? (Just wondering)
